I am a white queer cis-woman of Northern European heritage. I am a parent. I was born and raised in San Francisco. I returned to my hometown in 2018 after periods in Minnesota and New York, where I got my Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Columbia University after working as a financial counselor. Informing my therapy practice include experiences at the historic LGBT Center in NYC as an addictions counselor, grief counseling at Hospice by the Bay, immersive nature play therapy with groups of kids through Fiddleheads, and attachment-focused family therapy with parents and their babies at Through the Looking Glass. My therapy lens is also shaped by a decade of deep involvement in racial and economic justice movements.
